Title: How to Acquire a Library Card

Objective: By the end of this module, participants will be able to acquire a library card and document their library card number and pin for future use.

Step 1: Locate a Local Library

• Participants will identify the nearest library in their area, either by visiting in person or by searching for a library online.

Step 2: Apply for a Library Card

• Participants will follow the process to apply for a library card, which may vary depending on the library system.

• For The King Country Library System, participants can fill out the Library Card Application at https://w3.kcls.org/get-an-ecard.

• Participants will provide all the necessary information required in the application, such as their full name, address, and contact information.

Step 3: Receive the Library Card

• After submitting the library card application, the participant will receive their library card from the library system.

• The library card will contain a unique card number and pin, which the participant will need to document.

Step 4: Document the Library Card Number and Pin

• Participants will document their library card number and pin in a safe place for future reference.

• The library card number and pin will be needed to access library resources, borrow books, and use other services offered by the library.

Step 5: Submit Library Card Information to Key Tech Labs (KTL)

• Participants will submit the last 4 digits of their library card number to Key Tech Labs (KTL) Google Form, as instructed.

• This information will be used by KTL to track the use of the library card in their programs and services.
